Today was the grand opening of the new building of Viljandi Hospital. The new centre named Tervikum, combines both health and welfare services, offering on-site general practice, medical appointments, examinations, diagnostics, emergency care and rehabilitation. With a total floorspace of 23 000 m², the building will employ around 500 healthcare professionals.
Semetron’s role in the completion of the Tervikum was to install select medical equipment, providing advanced technical devices. Including:
Surgical lights and consoles
KLS Martin surgical lamps provide high quality illuminance that is customizable to the requirements of different surgical procedures. The consoles allow for a functional and ergonomic workflow in the operating room.
OR1air system
The Karl Storz OR1air combines the AIDA® documentation system and the OR1™ .avm module, providing high-definition video transmission (4K UHD, 3D and full HD), live video chat and two-way telestration, supporting efficient communication between surgeons and consultants.
Freezers for cold-storage
We installed Evermed freezers, specially designed for the cold storage of biological samples and different medical materials.
